The Echo A415000001 CDI Ignition Module is an ignition system electronic part used in all Echo power equipment, such as chainsaws and brush cutters. The timing of, and how strong, the spark that lights the fuel and air that’ll burn in the engine combustion chamber is controlled the ignition system. Input signals to the CDI module are the crankshaft position sensor and the tachometer. It relies on these signals to decide when to spark and it produces a high voltage electrical pulse. This spark ignites fuel and sends it to the spark plug along this pulse.
